O single “Youngblood” já soma 150 milhões de audições nas plataformas digitais 

Os 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) estão de volta com o novo álbum de estúdio, “Youngblood”. Sucessor do álbum homónimo de estreia, de 2014, e de “Sounds Good Feels Good” (2015) – que entraram ambos no n.º 1 do top Billboard 200 – “Youngblood” alarga as fronteiras musicais dos 5SOS, mantendo o ADN e as melodias únicas do grupo.

“Youngblood” – a canção que dá título ao álbum – é já um grande sucesso, ultrapassando as 150 milhões de audições nas plataformas digitais. O single atingiu ainda o n.º 1 das playlists mais populares da Apple Music – Today’s Hits – e do Spotify – Today’s Top Hits. O tema também chegou ao top 10 global do Spotify, liderou a tabela oficial de singles da Austrália durante três semanas consecutivas e está em n.º 1 na Nova Zelândia.

O novo álbum foi escrito e gravado maioritariamente com a equipa sueca Carl e Remi (Nicki Minaj, Madonna). Outros colaboradores incluem o produtor Mike Elizonto (Dr. Dre, Eminem, Fiona Apple), o produtor Noah Passovoy (Maroon 5), J Kash (Maroon 5, Charlie Puth), Asia Whitacre (Hailee Steinfeld, Zedd) e Andrew Goldstein (Linkin Park, Simple Plan).

Descritos pela Rolling Stone como “a maior banda rock do mundo”, os 5SOS estrearam-se com um álbum homónimo que vendeu mais de 3 milhões de cópias em todo o mundo. Em 2015 editaram “Sounds Good Feels Good” que se estreou em 1.º dos tops de vendas em 12 países. Os 5SOS são formados por Luke Hemmins (voz/guitarra), Michael Clifford (voz/guitarra), Calum Hood (voz/baixo) e Ashton Irwin (voz/bateria) e já venceram um American Musc Award, um People’s Choice Award, um iHeartRadio Music Award, cinco MTV European Music Awards, dois ARIA Awards e um MTV Video Music Award.
