| ►The DJ from Madrid proves with this record of attendees that he’s the only Spanish artist in dance music capable of gathering the biggest amount of fans in one night. ► DJ NANO set off on a journey through the biggest dance tracks in Spain from the end of the 80s to the first decade of the 00s, being himself one of the main protagonists in a large part of this period after his more than 20 years of career. ► The audience danced and sang, throughout an impeccable event where the production marks a milestone in the Spanish dance industry.
Bow down to the king. On Saturday December 16th, DJ NANO showed that he had no problems when getting together a faithful crowd. His show ORO VIEJO “The Big Show” brought together more than 12.000 people in the IFEMA´s 7 pavilion, all of them with the only and exclusive need of dancing to the rhythm marked by the artist from Madrid, who played for 8 hours non-stop and with his discs as the only company. There is no precedent in Spain, and it will probably take a long time to see another artist of this genre capable of gathering this gigantic number of fans. Fans that trust him, dressed in his branded T-shirts, flags and other pieces from their idol, prepared to give everything they’ve got on the dancefloor until their last breath. Something that always comes with DJ NANO’s dedication, who from beginning to the end of the night was behind the decks, dancing, jumping, running and giving off so much energy to the crowd. Nano was born for this, there isn't the slightest doubt, that his enjoyment and implication is passed on to an audience that surrender at his feet. He speaks to them all the time expressing his unconditional love and eternal gratitude. They extol his talent turning him into an exceptional artist. Very few DJs in the world have this massive support, the artist from Madrid not only breaks records in our country but he has become part of the selected squad of international artists capable of reaching these numbers. Time will recognized this immense merit to him as, the spanish industry seems not to be so conscious about it.
The technical and organizational production of the event, worked on with big promoters such as Disorder Events, Fluge Entertainment, Hermanos Toro and Planet Events are who that position him at the vanguard of the country. An immense display of lights, a powerful and clear sound and an holographic show with no precedent in Spain made of ORO VIEJO “The Big Show” one of the biggest musical events of the year in Spain, at the same level of his great international tours. The audience enjoyed, from the beginning to the end, an unique experience, without any incidents, filling up the pavillion to the last compasses of the show, asking their idol for more and more. “Lover Why” by John Wesley, put an end to the 8 hours of music which traveled through all the dance periods and tracks of Spain, from Techno Pop to Acid House, passing through Trance, Dance and Rave. The twenty fifth edition of Oro Viejo came to an end after setting high standards but promising even more shows from the leader and creator. DJ NANO isn’t going anywhere! A long life to Oro Viejo.
