Head of Johnkôôl Records with Quentin Kôôl from Collectif Sin, Colin Johnco will release his new album However Far Away on April 6.
This new album was recorded and mixed by Bérangère Maximin at the INA-GRM studio and include featuring from both Damon Eliza Palermo (aka Magic Touch) and Bérangère Maximin (see track listing below)
Colin Johnco lived in Paris and Berlin. He spent the last ten years to cover up his tracks. From experimental and electronic music, to sound installations and illustrations, composer and DJ at the same time, instigator of LEEP / CJC Records and, today, Johnkôôl Records with DJ Kôôl from Collectif Sin~.
He started the bands Dr(Dr)One and Dem Leedz, his discography never stopped growing through many collaborations (FareWell Poetry, Swim Johnco and Pacific Salmons with NSDOS).
Colin Johnco's music is unique, he seeks to establish surprising bridges between influencesas various as Afx, Art Blakey or Erik Satie.
He'll release a new solo album on April 2018. Entitled However Far Away he'll pick up the thread of Neo Love, released in 2011.
This new album was recorded and mixed by Bérangère Maximin at studio of INA/GRM.
