A estrela pop Sabrina Carpenter regressa com um novo single, “Almost Love”, que fará parte do seu terceiro álbum de estúdio, intitulado “Singular” e que chegará às lojas no final do ano. O tema foi produzido pelos Stargate e composto por Carpenter com Mikkel Eriksen, Nate Campany e Steph Jones.

“Compus ‘Almost Love’ com os Stargate no início do ano. Esta é a primeira canção do meu novo álbum, ‘Singular’, que chegará no inverno. Estou muito entusiasmada por finalmente poder editar o single porque sinto que agora começa uma nova era para mim, a nível sonoro e visual”, diz Carpenter sobre o novo single. "Houve uma nova tenacidade que encontrei através do processo de escrita, que se tornou a base para o álbum."

O single sucede-se ao sucesso de “Alien”, single composto com o multiplatinado produtor/DJ/compositor Jonas Blue. O vídeo oficial de “Alien” ultrapassou as 8,2 milhões de visualizações no YouTube e soma mais de 36,1 milhões de audições em todo o mundo só na plataforma Spotfiy.

A estrela pop Sabrina Carpenter e o multiplatinado produtor/DJ/compositor Jonas Blue acabam de lançar um novo single, “Alien”. O tema, co-escrito por Carpenter, Blue e Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, e produzido, gravado e misturado por Blue, está disponível em todas as lojas digitais e plataformas de streaming. Foi ainda lançado no Spotify um vídeo vertical do tema.

Sabrina e Jonas vão estrear-se juntos na televisão no próximo dia 21 de março, no programa “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. O vídeo oficial do single foi rodado recentemente em Londres e no final deste mês será divulgado em todo o mundo.

“Alien” é a primeira colaboração entre dois dos maiores talentos emergentes da música pop atual. “Há um ano escrevi um tweet sobre o Jonas e o quão adorava a canção que ele me tinha enviado… e agora aqui estamos”, diz Carpenter sobre a origem da canção. “Escrevemos a canção sobre o facto de ser alienante estarmos presos nas nossas próprias emoções. Liricamente, é inspirada nas palavras que ficam na nossa cabeça quando uma relação é pouco clara.”

“Foi um enorme prazer poder trabalhar com alguém tão incrivelmente talentosa como a Sabrina nesta canção, que profissional! Entrámos em estúdio com uma tela em branco, juntamente com uma compositora de Londres, chamada Jin Jin, e chegámos a este conceito do Alien”, Jonas acrescenta. “É uma canção de amor, mas é mais profundo que isso e leva-nos numa viagem metafórica. A música foi surgindo com naturalidade e consegui cruzar diferentes géneros com a assinatura da sonoridade de Jonas Blue.”
