Antes de dois grandes concertos em Portugal, Lucas Lucco, um dos maiores fenómenos da música actual do Brasil, apresenta o seu novo single "Posto 24H". 

Conhecido pela sua ousadia e irreverência, Lucas Lucco confere uma nova roupagem à música sertaneja, através de arranjos modernos e temas actuais, que tornam o estilo musical mais apelativo aos mais variados ouvintes. 

Artista multifacetado, Lucas Lucco é cantor e compositor (Artista Revelação 2016 "Prémio Multishow de música brasileira"), mas é também actor e modelo (Actor revelação 2016 "Prémio Melhores do ano TV Globo").

Nesta frase, podia descrever-se Colin Stetson, natural de Ann Arbour (cidade de Michigan, estado que também nos deu Steve Mackay, o mítico saxofonista tenor dos Stooges), colaborador de gente tão ilustre quanto Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Animal Collective, LCD Soundsystem, Hamid Drake, David Byrne, Bill Laswell, Evan Parker, The Chemical Brothers ou Anthony Braxton. Apresentado assim, Stetson correria o risco de ser confundido com o típico músico de digressão, o instrumentista competente e requisitado, mas razoavelmente anónimo. Um colaborador. Enganam-se, (sem desprimor para tantos músicos) Stetson é o sujeito de uma discografia composta de álbuns a solo, colaborações e música para filmes, entre os quais, o trabalho mais recente, Hereditary para o filme homónimo de Ari Aster. Será despropositado dizer que All This I Do for Glory (disco lançado em 2017) é um disco de pós-jazz, mas quem negará que as suas seis faixas desenham um mosaico de linhas, caminhos, direcções pelas quais circulam Steve Reich, Henryk Górecki, Dan Deacon, Lightning Bolt, Animal Collective, Battles, Seth Misterka, Autechre ou Aphex Twin? A hibridez da obra de Colin Stetson, a sua fuga à monotonia de um género ou história são aspectos evidentes. Dito, isto está profundamente ancorada num actuação, numa performance individual, em que o músico agrega, concilia no espaço, os instrumentos e o corpo (sem fazer deste um instrumento). Para nos oferecer composições das quais emergem canções. É delas que se fará, sem limites, a música sacra deste saxofonista no seu primeiro concerto em Lisboa, sob a arquitectura da Igreja St. George. 7th of January. This experience that immerses its audience in a universe that contrasts the modern world, born in Ushuaïa, Ibiza presents its Mexican debut with a Hallucination theme. Luciano will be the headliner and he will be accompanied by Jennifer Cardini, Nicola Cruz, Oceanvs Orientalis, Concret and more artists to be announced.

12th of January. In addition to the festival´s already planned programme of events, Sound Tulum is shaking things up by adding an intimate and exclusive, reduced capacity gathering headline by South Africa's Black Coffee.

Closing Party, 13th of January. This recently created brand’s purpose is to become an incomparable meeting point for artists, electronic music industry professionals and audience and therefore Sound Tulum has chosen it as its Closing Party. The Martinez Brothers and The Black Madonna are the first confirmed artists of a long list that will be revealed soon.

The last month of the year is here and elrow Music wants to start the celebration early, with the release of its ERM 145th reference, in the form of a Various Artists EP. And this isn't just any other EP. 'elrow In Stereo Vol.1' is the first collaboration between yours truly, elrow Music, and Stereo Productions, the worldwide recognized platform of Chus & Ceballos. In this first take, the Stereo crew has taken over our headquarters and have tailored a high rolling EP, with tracks by Chus & Ceballos with Melé, Danny Serrano, David Herrero and Rafa Barrios - all of them, familiar faces of the Stereo family -. Without a question, one of the big highlights of this V.A. is Chus & Ceballos collab with Melé, showing off their studio trickery. 'Galera (Original Mix)' is the track, that starts with a shy energy, but thanks to the African percussion, the atmosphere and melodies that guide the track, the chanted vocals and the overall progression its turn itself into a techy beast, perfect for peak times on the dancefloor. Danny Serrano's take is perfectly recognizable in 'Levy's Tale (Original Mix)', a straight, pitch down, tech house affair, that breks into madness after a great vocal momentum. On the other hand, David Herrero's 'Rokhaus (Original Mix)' has a more techno-like vibe, with a darker atmosphere but keeping the housy progression, topped by a great vocal line that appears by the end of the track. With the same kind of vibe, Rafa Barrios takes part in the EP with 'Kalengo (Original Mix)', a deep tech house kind of track, with a truly amazing organ momentum just in the middle of the song, that breaks into total madness making this another outstanding dancefloor bomb. The track created by the Argentinian band Los Coming Soon in 2012 has been brought back with these two new interpretations which have been made for the dance floor. The Argentinian band Los Coming Soon have always been close to electronic pop, creators of a fresh and new sound thanks to the amazing work of their audio producer Eric Broucek (LCD Soundsystem). All their compositions show an interesting intersection between indie and the dance floor, strongly influenced by house with an organic and energetic feeling. "Fernet Tastes Good" is the best proof of it. Released in 2012 as part of their first album, "Fernet Tastes Good" experimented a huge success during that year. Now, Stereo Productions has decided to recover this piece through two excellents remixes by Chus & Ceballos and Gonçalo. The first one, created by the label´s bosses, contains their unmistakable trademark. Groove, strong percussions and a clear vocation for unbridled dance. The version signed by Gonçalo turns to more hypnotic and evocative lands, an oniric journey to the listener's heart. Overall a tremendous release with a lot to offer to clubbing. Stereo Productions releases "Fernet Tastes Good" remixes on 30th November 2018.

“SFCA” é a primeira amostra do novo EP da cantora GAVI, Rebarba. A faixa está disponível em todas as plataformas de streaming (Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Napster e outros) via selo Garimpo Brasileiríssimos, e acompanha ainda um clipe inédito, numa super produção que passeia por belas paisagens do Espírito Santo.

A música foi escrita em 2016 e é a primeira composição da artista. “Queria que a vibe da música passasse exatamente o que eu estava sentindo quando a escrevi, um sentimento de liberdade! Quando eu convoco “Garota, vamo embora?”, na verdade eu me convoco a explorar novos caminhos e a me lembrar sempre que eu sou livre”, explica a artista. “Eu a escrevi em uma viagem ao Rio de Janeiro, em 2016, depois de ter sonhado com ela duas vezes!”

O sentimento da composição de SFCA inspira o videoclipe, dirigido por Gabriel Hand e pela GAVI, feito com o intuito de explorar o sentido de liberdade da música através de “road trips”. As imagens foram captadas no litoral norte capixaba, explorando o lado livre, engraçado, espontâneo, leve e relaxante de uma viagem entre amigas.

A produção da faixa ficou por conta de Filipe Vedolin (Aláfia, Mutum), Ricardo Vieira (Solveris, Mickey Gang) e Lucas Arruda (Silva), com mixagem e masterização por Alexandre Barcelos (Funky Pirata Studio) e Felipe Gama (Gama Soundz). Os músicos que deram vida à canção foram os baixistas Gabriel Catanzaro (Aláfia) e Hugo Maciel (Silva), o pianista Vitor Arantes (Vítor Arantes Quarteto), o saxofonista Vinícius Chagas (Jazz São Paulo, Aláfia), o guitarrista Pedro Bienemann (Nuvem). 

A primeira amostra de Rebarba, novo EP da cantora, que será lançado dia 18 de dezembro pelo selo Garimpo Brasileiríssimos. O lançamento sucede os singles “Antídoto” e “Sweet to Meet You”, além do EP “A Conta Gotas”, lançado em 2017, e que abriu espaço para a cantora se apresentar em festivais como Bananada (Goiânia), Daz Mina (São Paulo) e Sonora (Minas Gerais e São Paulo).

Although, there are still some artists and the venue to be revealed, it’s time for the festival to announce the big news regarding its Closing Party, which is the confirmation of The Martinez Brothers being the headliners.

The epic Sound Tulum’s Closing Party will be exceptional; not just because its name is EPIC but because the main purpose of this recently created brand is to become an incomparable meeting point for artists, electronic music industry professionals and audience.

A unique, unforgettable and once-in-a-lifetime event, that is how Sound Tulum conceives the party that will mark an end for its second edition. This point of gathering, this party of epic reunion, will be combining a line-up of the best electronic artists in the world, the sounds of the main styles, and of course, the best audience. Sound Tulum is pleased to announce the full lineup for the festival’s Opening Party hosted by Bedouin as they present their renowned international series, SAGA. With the much-loved DJ duo at the helm, Bedouin will be joined by SAGA favorites SIS, Guy Laliberté, Santiago Garcia and The Soul Brothers to kick off the festivities on Saturday, December 29.

Camilo Sanjuán signs "Bujarén" on Metro Dance Records -The EP has two original tracks and a remix by Colors & Lambert.  Metro Dance Records, one of the most renowned national labels of the moment, has once again decided to count on a national figure for its latest release. This time it's the Canarian artist settled since the ´90s in Valencia, Camilo Sanjuán. Extravaganza, New Violence and The Plot Music are just some of the labels that have released the productions of this DJ and producer, owner of an exquisite Tech style with a lot of energic groove. "Bujarén" is the name of this EP formed by 3 cuts: 2 original tracks and 1remix by Colors & Lambert. The homonymous track "Bujarén" manages to build through the rhythm a perfect atmosphere to make the listener gradually penetrate into this new sound dimension, preparing them for the changes that are discerned out in the horizon. On Saturday 12th of January 2018, Sound Tulum welcomes Black Coffee, one of the most influential figures in the contemporary electronic scene, to weave his magic from the idyllic surroundings of the Mayan Riviera. After the huge success of their inaugural festival, the 2nd edition of Sound Tulum is set to take place at numerous incredible locations in Tulum, Mexico between December 29th, 2018 and January 13th, 2019.

In addition to the festival´s already planned programme of events, Sound Tulum is shaking things up by adding an intimate and exclusive, reduced capacity gathering headline by South Africa's Black Coffee to take place on January 12th in a location described mysteriously as a "Secret Beach".

Over the last year, Black Coffee (real name: Nkosinathi Maphumulo) has fully cemented his presence in the major leagues of international clubbing. Widely admired and respected for his knowledge, experience and high level of artistry, Black Coffee has stood out for his natural ability to blend house with soul, alternative African percussions, organic sounding electronics, jazz elements and vocals. The event will take place on 7th of January in Zamna Tulum.

"Hallucination" will be the theme for it's premiere in Mexico.

 

DYSTOPIA is a new concept created last summer in Ushuaïa Ibiza at the hands of the talented visionaries The Night League. An experience that immerses its audience in a universe that contrasts with the modern world: music, live art and performances viewed through a distorted lense. A journey that plunges you into a new sensory paradise and invites you to explore your creativity. Brutal, surreal, beyond any limit or prejudice ideology; DYSTOPIA is radically different, it doesn't compare to anything you've experienced before.

On Monday 7th of January DYSTOPIA presents its Mexican debut with a Hallucination theme. The celebration will take place in Zamna Tulum with Luciano as it's headliner. The Chilean has settled in Switzerland and is one of the most respected artists in the international electronic industry. Besides being the owner of Cadenza, one of the most influential electronic music record labels, he has one of the most high profile careers as a producer and as a DJ. He will be joined by other visionaries: Jennifer Cardini, Nicola Cruz, Oceanvs Orientalis and Concret, renowned and essential figures in the contemporary electronic music, and there are still more names to be announced.

Os produtores Jean Richard (DjPtk) e Hugo dos Santos há 3 anos começaram a captar sons e imagens das ruas da cidade de Teresina-PI e a criarem bases em estúdio para somar aos sons captados. Depois fizeram algumas apresentações ao vivo unindo guitarra,MPC e percussão às performances como forma de ampliar a quantidade de camadas e assim modificarem os sons e imagens do cotidiano teresinense. Após 3 anos de experimentos o disco Tupi Machine foi lançado e traz uma sonoridade que dialoga com a tecnologia urbana contemporânea, ao passo que assume uma ancestralidade sonora. Dj Ptk é um dos principais nomes do movimento Hip Hop no Piauí e proprietário do estúdio quilomboloucobeats onde foi gravado o disco. Hugo dos Santos é músico/compositor e produtor musical. Passou sua infância no interior do Maranhão onde hoje moram seus pais e de onde trouxe influências de ritmos de terreiros e indígenas. Hugo Já lançou 4 discos. Tu(PI) (Ma)chine acaba sendo a união sonora de dois estados já ligados por um rio. Um trabalho que exalta e reinventa a estrutura sonora e visual que influencia o cotidiano das pessoas dessa região,e por consequência, de todxs que aceitam o contato com essa imersão.
