Cantor atua a 18 de maio na Altice Arena, em Lisboa
Sam Smith acaba de anunciar o lançamento do seu mais recente single, “Pray feat. Logic”, já disponível para streaming em todo o mundo. O último álbum de Smith, “The Thrill of It All”, já se encontra nas lojas.
Neste novo single, Sam Smith trabalha pela primeira vez com o lendário produtor Timbaland, juntamente com o amigo e colaborador de longa data Jimmy Napes. O resultado é uma slow-jam soul extraordinária, que destaca a voz delicada e, ainda assim, poderosa de Smith, que aqui se ouve acompanhada de um coro imponente. O novo single conta com a participação do rapper americano Logic, que transforma o tema ao dar voz aos seus versos únicos.
Sobre a inspiração por trás da canção, Sam explica: “Olhamos para o mundo à nossa volta e percebemos que se vive uma grande confusão. Não tens outra escolha a não ser olhar para o céu e rezar para que algo aconteça, porque me sinto desamparado pelos ser humanos neste momento.”
O novo álbum de Smith, “The Thrill of It All”, lançado em novembro do ano passou, entrou diretamente para o 1.º lugar dos tops de vendas no Reino Unido e nos EUA e já vendeu mais de 3,5 milhões de cópias em todo o mundo.
No passado dia 20 de março o cantor iniciou uma digressão mundial de 92 datas que vai passar por Lisboa, no próximo dia 18 de maio, na Altice Arena.
